obsidianblaq's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- unconditional friendship this is a poem i wrote after getting home from a party where my darling brigitte was.. always making sure i was ok, not leaving my side when i was with her, she read my index cards, asked the individual in question to promise her he'd read them... she was such a sweet heart and i love her sooo much that this is what i wrote at 2 that morning.... Unconditional Friendship you walk into the room where i'm idly scanning the scene theres couples making out and those alone discreetly watching the light from the t.v. casts flickering shadows... but as soon as you appear it all vanishes & all i can see is your beautiful smile you catch my eye and grin- even wider than before run to me and throw your arms around me i catch you and in that moment i love you more than words could ever possibly describe with the pen in my hand but i'll try anyways i see you and i can't help but feel... beautiful inside for you look at me like thats what i am & everytime i realize this i get this funny feeling inside like i'm going to burst open with all the happiness you inspire i want to hold you close and kiss your cheek & i never want to let you go i promis i'll always be here for you to laugh with, cry with, & sit with in comfortable silence because i honestly- don't know what i'd do without you. thank you so much for the love you have, it means the world to me. 2:55 p.m. - 2004-08-17 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
