obsidianblaq's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Loon Lake Lodge i have resigned myself to thinking along the lines of i'm moving sometime in the not so far away future. when, who knows. where, who knows that either. after the disappointment of the beau, my dad has continued his search. he spent this morning looking up lodges that were for sale in the area. the one he found was loon lake lodge on Skootamatta Lake, about an hour and a half from here. it's a gorgeous camp with 13 cabins and a main building. there's a pool, and a hot tub. the water is beautiful, with lots of boats and docking area. it's also got a strong fishing theme to it, which really appealed to my dad, seeing as he's a fisher. this one, i'm excited about. i really hope we do it. dad's looking for a change of lifestyle, fed up with the IT business. I would love to live somewhere like that. the beau was too far away, in the middle of nowhere, and not nearly as gorgeous as this. i mean, this is close enough i can come back to my town often enough. i bet i could even make the biggest parties. it's moving, but not so far that i have to drop everything that has been my life. that was what my problem was with the beau. and i mean come on. i could organize a weekend where all my current friends came up to our lodge. how cool would that be?? yea. i'm actually really excited and seriously hope it happens. anyways. thats my 3rd story of the day... i have to go for a bike ride. 5:01 p.m. - 2004-07-13 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
