obsidianblaq's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- feeling good. i'm feeling determined today. so far this summer i've been horrible for munching on thinsg and snacks and just random bits of food. and i've realized this but not actually done anything about it, though i've told myself i would so many times. well this morning, after waking up slightly hung over and posting about the experience last night, i talked to nomey, apologized to her again.... she said she wasn't actually mad AT me. so i told her i understood. she wasn't mad at me, she was mad at the alcohol cause it took her mother away from her. thank god you figured it out she says. cause thats exactly it but i've never figured out how to say it. and then she left for quebec, she'll be gone for a week. i went back to bed. when i woke up again i realised i still hadn't eaten anything in 30 some hours. but i didn't feel like eating. but after reflection on this thought i realized it would not be a good thing to refuse to eat for a few days and get myself sick again like last summer. instead, i realise that i can just have a slim-fast shake. all the nutrients to make sure i don't die but no food. so this is the start of kay actually going with her goal of losing some weight. i joined up on the website. you do a weigh in every week and it charts your progress vs your goal and all sorts of neat things. so now i'm going to start having a shake for breakfast and lunch, and eating supper with the family. this with my biking about an hour every day should be effective, should it not? i've already been kinda losing weight, many people have told me so for the past few months. this is me making an actual committment. 11:52 a.m. - 2004-07-18 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
